Eurica Manuela Novo Lopes Henriques
Associate Professor
University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro
Eurica Henriques is an Associated Professor at the Department of Mathematics of Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD), Portugal, and an integrated member of the Centre of Mathematics CMAT, a research unit of University of Minho (UM).
In 2005 she obtained her PhD in Pure Mathematics from the University of Coimbra with the thesis "Regularity theory for some nonlinear PDEs".
From 2010 to 2015, she was the Director of the Centre of Mathematics of UTAD, CM-UTAD, which was extinct during 2015 FCT evaluation giving raise to the Pole CMAT-UTAD: a scientific partnership between UTAD and UM.
She was Vice Director of CMAT, from 2018 to 2020, and she has been Coordinator of the Pole CMAT-UTAD from 2018 to 2022.
Her main research interest concerns Nonlinear Evolutionary Partial Differential Equations, namely global and local boundedness; global and local regularity (via intrinsic scaling and the parabolic version of De Giorgi's iterative method); Harnack inequalities.
