Its research is focused in the area of Special Functions, including some properties of Functions of Hypergeometric Type, some properties of Basic Hypergeometric Functions and also some properties associated with quantum operators.

Main achievments: a different approach to obtain recurrence relations for functions of hypergeometric type, related with the Nikiforov-Uvarov method; basic Fourier and Fourier-Bessel expansions; properties of function spaces associated with quantum operators and the corresponding inverse operators.
