In this talk we will discuss the MAGIC project http://maths.dept.shef.ac.uk/magic/index.php/, which is concerned with sharing postgraduate taught courses in mathematics  between many universities in the UK using access-grid technology to deliver live lectures. The project is the largest of its kind anywhere the world both in terms of  the number of institutions involved and the sheer scale of  the operation in using this type of technology.

We will discuss the background to the project some of the major  highlights and typical problems.
